Workout app affiliate programs: seven options to compare
Updated 2026
A workout app affiliate program can pay for a qualifying subscription, a trial signup, or another defined referral event. A monthly price does not tell you whether renewals pay commission.
This comparison is published by Workout Lock. Our app addresses workout distraction, while other options focus on logging, classes, plans, or managing a coaching business.
Consumer apps versus professional software
Consumer apps are products your followers or clients use in their own training. Professional software is purchased by coaches delivering services. A coaching platform can be a good affiliate offer for trainer education and a weak offer for an audience of ordinary lifters.

Pick by the problem you demonstrate
Workout focus
Workout Lock fits the moment a person stops logging a set and starts scrolling. Tracking and planning do not cover that moment. You still have to test whether the audience will pay for another app.
Logging
Hevy and Gravitus can fit content about tracking sets and progress. Show the set-logging workflow. Hevy states a 5K-plus audience requirement; Gravitus's reviewed page uses qualitative eligibility criteria.[1][2]
Workout personalization
WorkoutGen suits an audience looking for a plan and tracking. Ask how the referral is preserved when a viewer leaves the site and returns later. Its public page describes same-visit checkout handling followed by the payment platform's attribution.[3]
Classes
Fiit fits instructor-led home-workout content. Its public Awin overview mentions £5, while the commission page lists £15 and £7.50 tiers. Confirm your assigned rate and qualifying event; do not treat the highest figure as universal.[4][5]
Coaching businesses
Trainerize and FitBudd suit professional buyers. Their recurring structures have different durations.[6][7] Avoid pitching them as ordinary consumer workout subscriptions.
Why app attribution deserves a test
An app recommendation can involve a social click, a browser page, an app-store download, account creation, a trial, and a later purchase. Those are separate steps. A browser cookie alone does not prove the eventual in-app subscription is credited.
Ask the program about new and existing users, delayed upgrades, device changes, renewals, refunds, code entry, and referrals from another partner. Test an authorized referral journey using the program's approved procedure. Do not generate artificial purchases or assume self-referrals are permitted.
Confirm that you can see the difference between clicks, installs, eligible subscriptions, approved commission, and payable earnings. A popular download video can still generate little income if the free tier satisfies most users.
How recurring commission behaves
Recurring commission is attractive when the customer remains subscribed and the agreement keeps payments eligible. Its value depends on retention, price, fees or deductions, and the allowed earning period.
These figures are made up. Twenty eligible subscribers generating €3 commission per monthly payment produce €60 for that month. If half cancel and no new referrals arrive, the same cohort produces €30 next month. Annual subscriptions have different payment timing. They do not describe any listed app.
A one-time bounty can outperform a recurring offer if it converts better or needs less promotion. Compare actual approved earnings per click and production hour.
Workout Lock Partner Program
Workout Lock is an iOS app designed to help people finish workouts on time by blocking distracting apps during workouts. It is especially relevant when your followers want their phone for music, timers, or logging but struggle to avoid unrelated apps.
Approved partners earn 50% of Workout Lock's net proceeds from the qualifying purchase, subject to terms. Net proceeds are what remains after Apple's commission, taxes withheld by Apple, and refunds or chargebacks. Commission applies to the first annual subscription bought through the Partner offer. Renewals do not earn commission. The customer enters the partner code in the app. The code is valid for 30 days, and a purchase in that window stays attributed. Payouts are monthly after a 30-day hold, with a €50 minimum. There is nothing to ship, and you can film the blocking setup.
Explain why your planned gym session runs late, show the actual blocking setup, and discuss who would benefit. Do not promise a measured time saving unless your own evidence supports it.
FAQs
Does every workout app have an affiliate program?
No. A customer referral perk, an influencer relationship, and an open commission program are different arrangements. This shortlist includes identifiable public partner pages.
Does a subscription app pay recurring commission automatically?
No. Fiit's reviewed material describes signup compensation without establishing renewals. The agreement must explicitly cover recurring earnings.
Which app is best for personal trainers?
For trainer peers, investigate business software. For clients, choose the actual training problem: logging, classes, planning, or focus. See affiliate programs for personal trainers.
